I borrowed my next door neighbour's laptop to go on blogging because I am too lazy to do my mathematics homework. Seriously, you wouldnt want to be doing Maths after jogging at the park and your legs turn to jello.

About posting pictures, I decided to post pictures if needs be because the slow internet connection in Shah Alam really annoys me to the bone. Its not like at home where i can stream youtube and my mouth didn't have to injure itself screaming " F***, f***, f***, f***" in rapid succesion.

Btw the rate of F*** coming out of my mouth is around 1.5 per second. XD which makes

1) Brief Recap of Lab Experiment that I did Today. Test for aldehydes and ketones.


In respect for the people who does not know what are aldehydes and ketones, (even the spell check in blogger marks it as an error)
ketones and aldehydes are carbon compounds. Yep, and it exist in your lives people. Its functional group is a carbon double bonded with an oxygen atom ( known as C=O bond)

Wow, see? I actually teach something useful in my blog. Now flood me with your praise. Muahahaha.

Anyway, I was happily mindind my bussiness testing for the presence of the functional groups. One of the tests involve the usage of DNP. (2,4 dinitrophenylhydrazine). Dun worry it's not as complicated as the name implies.

Just that, It is also known as Brady reagent, with molecular formula of C₆H₃(NO₂)₂NHNH₂. It has a CAS registry number of 119-26-6) (CAS registry numbers are unique numerical identifiers for chemical compounds, biological sequences, mixtures and alloys.) And also its,
SIMPLIFIED MOLECULAR INPUT LINE ENTRY SPECIFICATION (SMILES) is like SOOOOO

but my reaction was )=O (WHAT THE F***???)

HOW THE HELL IS THAT SIMPLIFIED????

We should bust the chemists ass back to kindergarden and make them realized what is simplified. Anyway, I was happily using the DNP when some spilled onto my hand.

And tell you, DNP stinks like shit. I was hoping it wasnt corrosive or my career will be over before it started. luckily it wasnt.

Anyway, i was washing my hand like mad until i could feel my skin coming out. but the yellow stain stayed on my right thumb.

So i had to bear with this stench on my thumb. Right now it even stinks while i am blogging and I cant rub my nose with my right hand or i would die of the smell.

As i was writing this blog, I went to wikipedia and searched for DNP.
I was shocked to see....

Dinitrophenylhydrazine is relatively sensitive to shock and friction; it is a shock explosive so care must be taken with its use. It is a red to orange solid, usually supplied wet to reduce its explosive hazard.

WHAT THE HELL!!!!!! I AM WEARING A FREAKING EXPLOSIVE ON MY HAND???!!!!!
